Kaio Dia-AU

Awesome Designs
Without Limits

Our story

Kaio-Dia was established by Kaio Kim, who has type 1 diabetes, for individuals like him. We understand the challenges: the injections, the planning, the carbohydrate counting, administering insulin, and the sleepless nights. It’s not always straightforward, which is why we aim to help by providing practical and comfortable accessories for the various brands and tools that diabetics rely on daily, including Freestyle Libre, Medtronic, Dexcom, and more.

We are committed to sustainable and high-quality products, which is why we collaborate with UWear. Our entire process, from production to the final product, embodies this philosophy. Below, you can see the locations where our products are manufactured:

People and the Environment

We produce our products under working conditions that we would find acceptable for ourselves. Our goal is to create items that enhance the lives of both the artisans who craft them and the individuals who wear them.

Kaio Dia products are manufactured with a commitment to fair labor practices and minimal environmental impact. We genuinely care for both people and the planet.

Throughout every stage of production, we’ve made choices that reduce our environmental footprint. Here are some examples of Kaio Dia’s sustainable practices:

  • Sourcing materials from renewable resources and sustainable agriculture, avoiding exploitation and deforestation.
  • Ensuring our fabrics remain clean after washing at 40 degrees, enabling customers to lower their washing temperatures from 60 to 40 degrees.
  • Committing to high-quality, durable products.
  • Minimizing the use of additional chemicals, particularly during dyeing.
  • Partnering with suppliers who comply with REACH legislation and adhere to the Kaio-Dia Code of Conduct.
  • Conducting regular visits to our production facilities and subcontractors.
  • Properly treating waste and chemicals, with no unauthorized substances used.
  • Utilizing recycled materials in production whenever feasible.
  • Shipping boxes made entirely from recycled cardboard.
  • Employing eco-friendly transportation after production in Indonesia, using containers primarily designed for furniture that still have available space.
